Berry Breeze Smoothie
Adapted from Sarah Britton's My New Roots
Serves 1 - 2
Ingredients
1 cup raspberries, blueberries, or strawberries (stems are ok), frozen or fresh
1 frozen banana
Handful of fresh mint leaves
2 tablespoons flax seed or hemp seeds
1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup almond milk or water
honey, maple syrup, or agave to taste (I use about a tablespoon)
Combine the berries, banana, mint, seeds, lemon juice, and milk or water in a blender or vitamixj
Sweeten to taste. Add more mint leaves if desired
This doesn't keep in the fridge
